Who has been your toughest opponent? Steve Wood from Tallangatta bowled heat, whacked it and made me feel very inadequate when I was 16. Always had great trouble getting Geoff Stewart out when I first came to Bruthen. Who is the best player you've played against or with? Why? Steve Wood, Phil Neville, an outstanding top order bat, once hit Nathan Smith from West Bairnsdale for multiple pull shots for four when it was dark, and Adrian Burgiel. Have never seen a ball hit harder as consistently as he could do it, could win a game off his own bat. What's your most memorable on-field moment? Why? Captaining Bruthen to its first "A" grade premiership in 43 years was with my future brothers-in-law. Who is your favourite teammate? All of them, but an obvious soft spot for my nephew, Harry Forbes. What is your nickname? Saxo, Benny, Sacko or the ginger ninja. Who is your favourite sport and sporting team? An opening bat that bowls, overall I just try and be the best teammate I can be. Are you a batsman that bowls or a bowler that bats? Probably more of a batter.
